Juan Diego Florez a peruvian tenor, is one of the most recent names to appear on the international opera scene, yet he is already making a name for himself as one of the most important tenors of today. Florez is a curious talent with an extraordinary agile voice and by many considered the most solid tenor around.
In Florez, opera critics have seen the lost link to the great tenors of the past and marvel at his stylish singing and the solid evenness of his instrument.
The 35-year-old tenor, who has been called the successor of Luciano Pavarotti, is featured in the New York Times following his history making solo encore, something not done since Pavarotti performance in 1994.
The Times have called it “one of those thrilling moments that opera impresarios live for.”
“It was Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez as the lovesick Tonio who brought the crowd to its feet late in Act 1 on Monday night by sailing with ease through the nine high Cs in the aria, “Ah! mes amis…Pour mon ame” — and then singing it a second time.”
Multiple UK news outlets are reporting today that Sir Paul McCartney has reached a deal with Apple to offer the Beatles catalog on the iTunes Store. The deal, reportedly worth $400 million, comes after months and months of speculation and relentless torrents of rumors. As best as we can tell, this is the real deal, and will lead to the most popular band of all time finally finding its way onto an online marketplace.
While McCartney will be keeping much of the money, several other parties stand to benefit from the deal. It is being reported that portions of the sum will be going to families of the deceased members of the Beatles, Ringo Starr, Sony, EMI, and the former owner of the catalog, Michael Jackson.
As of today there is no time frame as to when the catalog will appear online, but it seems to just be a matter of time. McCartney himself even said in November that the catalog would be making its way onto the the store some time in 2008 While we have heard this sort of thing time and time again, this might just be the real deal. Prepare yourself—Beatlemania is coming to iTunes.
If so, U should watch this video…

This afternoon I was surfing on the tv and stumbled onto E! They were showing The E! True Hollywood Story: Britney Spears : Fall From Grace.
I was never a big fan of her but I did like some of her old songs, I like some of the new ones too, but I think she could do it better.
I’m not going to talk about her mistakes, her wild lifestyle or if she is a good mom or not. I’m gonna “Leave Britney Alone!”
I just hope someday we get to see her back how she was once.
We all miss this Britney:
These guys got a perfect A.
I really dont’see the point of having video on an Ipod nano.
I have one I use it only for listening to music and love it…
So if you want to watch movies on a bigger screen , why dont you use just the Tv or pc Monitor instead? or buy the bigger ipod???
Silly invention
Well, I guess everybody gets a broken heart at least once in the life.
The first time it happened to me was when I was 22, and during that time I needed no friends, no encouraging words, but Cold Play’s music.
A broken heart can be very stressful, and I could survive thanks to “Trouble” and all the other Cold Play’s songs.
How did I do it? well I think that listening their songs helped me to take my mind off the hurt, also listening their music helped me to get some of those raw emotions out.
I can’t even imagine how many times I played this.
It took me time for sadness to go away. It was a hard time but finally the pain healed.
Almost everyone thinks they won’t feel normal again, but the human spirit is amazing — and the heartbreak almost always heals after a while, believe me.
